About the Artwork: The sailing season in the Andaman Sea off southern Thailand sees countless sailboats heading out to sea almost year-round. The ever-changing waves and wind make me feel like some of the boats are dancing. For this painting, I blended creative elements of geometric shapes and wave textures created with a palette knife (impasto) and spray painting, blending colors thickly to achieve smooth, continuous lines—it’s like cooking, haha! I primarily used acrylics, which helped me develop a unique and memorable painting style. I created imaginative artwork by combining the use of a palette knife to blend colors, create textures, and add dimension to my paintings. It was so much fun!
