About the Artwork: The sun is so bright today! Every time I see sunflowers, I can't resist buying them to put in a white vase. They remind me of my hometown in Thailand during the summer. Sunflowers are truly the queens of the sun. I felt I had to paint these sunflowers on a canvas large enough to convey the feelings I had at that moment. I used a palette knife to create an impasto texture and dimension in the painting. I mainly work with acrylics, which has helped me develop a unique and memorable painting style. The composition and colors are vibrant and fun. It was really enjoyable to create.
